True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (25s). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), one small (approx. 1.50cms) tear to back lower corner near spine, a few other very small (approx. 3mms) tears, patchy browning (including to spine), few marks, the odd small crease/rub to edges, little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, minor foxing, little pushing/bumping to corners, patchy creasing/browning to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corners, crease to spine (book has been read), the odd small mark, odd minor bump to edges and a little pushing/rubbing/fading to head/tail of spine. Some spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a bit tanned. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms.
