Beschreibung
Modern Library, New York. 1927. 250 pages. First Modern Library Edition stated. Unrelated to the Modern Library publication, copyright page includes eighth printing, which is believed to be related to the printing history of this title, not the printing history of this title through Modern Library; meaning all stated First Modern Library Editions include Eighth Printing on the copyright page. Book is about fine with only minimal, light shelf-rubbing to corner tips. Charming, vintage bookseller's tiny label for The Norman Remington Co. of Baltimore, on base of rear pastedown. Illustrated yellow and white endpapers. Book is housed in its original, uncommon DJ with 95 cents price intact on flap. DJ is a beauty in incredible condition, with slight age-darkening/soiling. DJ is a solid near fine. Allegedly, there is a DJ for this title that includes Dumas' Camille listed on DJ inverse while omitting Sherwood Anderson's Poor White. This DJ contain the Dumas' title, as well as the Anderson title, on DJ inverse, so if the former exists, this would be considered a second state DJ. This copy is a beauty, both book and DJ. First Modern Library Edition stated. NF/NF. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 003805
