Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers

xxiv, 500 pgs. Intro. by author; Count Keyserling, social philospher & mystic, founded the School of Wisdom. His philosophy & thought was conditioned by many lands and peoples. Keyserling maintains that modern man lacks moral checks to a far greater degree than any of his forebearers. Philosopher Keyserling further proclaims that "the average man only notices what public opinion acknowledges as important." A work well worth reading for anyone seeking intellectual insight. Previous owner's name on ffep; Intro. pgs xix & xx fragile due to old wrinkle or bend; old mend to pgs. 201-202, else interior of vol. is clean & very good. Black clothe boards with small attractive (author & title pastedown) have very little wear. Spine also with pastedown, shows sunning/fading with some bumping wear to head & heal, else this scarce 1st. ed. is very good. Size: 6" x 9".

Shopbeschreibung

Internet and mail order; the inventory is largely catholic in scope in that there are items in many fields and disciplines; much of the stock, especially that of older or earlier copyrighted material, is from items which have been in the family for several generations. With the passage of time, and family members, these collections have, somewhat, gravitated together and are offered for sale, via ABE; we continue to acquire additional items of interest, from time to time, as they turn up.
