A first edition published for The Mariners Library listed at No. 5. The half title page is signed by naval Commander Erroll Bruce. The boards are fairly well worn with some markings and discolouration. The spine has some browning and a small tear at the spine foot edge. The page block is slightly discoloured. The book contains maps and illustrations. There is some foxing on the maps on the FEP and REP. The pages and illustrations in the main body are clean and in good condition. GE.
