Davar Liyeladim ("Davar for Children"), was founded by Habas and several other writers and was illustrated by Nahum Gutman. Habas, one of its most important contributors, edited the magazine. It was published for decades and in 1985 it amalgamated with the Hebrew "Mishmar Leyeladim" (Guard for Children) and with "Haaretz Shelanu" (Our Land) to become a paper called "Koolanu" (All of us) which continues to appear. People would save the issues and at the end of the year would bring them to a collection point in each town and then it would get picked up and for fee would be bound in a blue hard cover, and then you'd be alerted when to pick your bound copy.
