This VG- first format (as per Mattson/Davis: cream cloth, title in gold outlined in black) is a possible first edition--it lists only to the previous Dave Porter title. This book has a noticeable lean, is reasonably clean, with no corner bumps or edge dings; head and heel of the spine are lightly bumped without fabric damage. The spine has moderate-to-heavy general wear in that the red "Dave Porter" shield is worn to nothing more than an outline; the front panel illustration has only light general wear and is nearly intact (see photo). Except for a inked name on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks and page damage; a few pages have minor stains that do not affect the text.
