Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. Derrick, Freda (illustrator). 1st Edition. British edition, undated, presumed circa 1954 (from date of author's signature). Presumed second printing. With original unclipped jacket (5s). Large (oblong) format. Profusely illustrated by the author. Same format as first printing. Signed by the author (with best wishes from Freda Derrick), September 1954, in black ink directly to front end-paper without dedication. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few small (approx. 1cm) tears, little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), few marks, minor foxing, patchy browning, creasing/rubbing to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, is a little fragile and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been generally well protected by the jacket) with a little pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small bump/rub to edges, odd small mark and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with the odd small mark/mild foxing. The author has added a title of a previous book to end of list of books by this author page. Pages bit tanned. Top of pages slightly dusty with a couple of small bumps. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted. Signed by Author(s). Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 006534
