1876. x, 360pp+viii, 87pp+xxiii plates at end. Supplementary portion (published 1877) bound in with main volume. Includes 23 plates - of which 7 are hand-coloured - as well as an illustrated frontispiece and indexes. The catalogue is "accompanied by a concise general history of the subject and remarks on cards of divination and of a politico-historical character". Large black cloth hardback with blind-stamped decorations to boards and gilt titles to spine. Overall good to very good condition - ex-library with stamps to front matter and in a few places in the text. Rebacked with old spine laid on and new endpapers. Mark to spine where library numbers were removed. First and last pages browned, edges a little foxed and tops dusty, light wear and slight loss of colour to boards, corners worn.
