Incomplete volume one only ending at the entry for "dash". Collation: 1*-*2, b1-c4, D1-2, E1-I4, K1-Q4, R1-2, A1-I4, K1-U4, X1-Z4, Aa1-I4, Kk1-Uu4, Xx1-Zz4, 3A1-3H4, 3I1-3O4. Original drab boards. Partial volume one comprising the first 304 leaves & thus far complete with the blanks, half title, title, & engraved frontispiece portrait. Uncut sheets clean & unmarked in original boards now detached, edge worn & stained. Interesting for its original boards uncut state and for the half-title stating volume 1 is "A-K" not "A-N" as indicated in two volume quarto Thomas editions also dated 1818.
