This is the stated first edition of the Canadian issued edition bound in gray cloth with dark blue lettering and designs. 12mo size, 438pp. A Near Fine copy in a very good dust jacket. The binding is lightly ru bbed at the corners and tips else fine. Light dusting to the edges of the page blocks. Former owner's name is neatly inked on the front fly. Percival Christopher Wren (1875-1941) was an English writer best known for his adventure fiction; in particular, the novel Beau Geste. This adventure story promises thrills by land and sea, heroism, villainy, and humour. 5 pages of publisher advertisements to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is bright and smart with a little fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound.
