Very good plus, bound in finely woven green cloth stamped brightly in gold and orange on the front boards and bright gilt on the spine. Very clean and tight throughout with the exception of some light insect damage to the rear hinge along the top 2". In the orignal dustjacket which is heavily chipped and missing pieces at the top and bottom of the spine ends and at the corners. With ads for "The Ballingtons" priced at $1.50 at the center of the front inside flap and for "Lynette and the Congressman" priced at $1.50. Presentation inscription in black ink on the front endpaper: "To Luther Lord, Esqu, 131 Summer Street, Malden, MAss. With the compliments of Francis N. Thorpe. February 6, 1907." First Edition with matching dates of 1905 on the title and copyright pages, and with "Published October, 1905" on the copyright page. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 102
