Shadow of transparent tape adhesive on boards and endpapers, small stains to a few leaves. In the illustrated dust jacket, flap price of $4.50 intact. Jacket with a few short closed tears, a couple light stains on rear panel. The New York art critic, dealer and gallery owner was a catalyst in promoting Pop Art in the 1960s. His only published novel takes place in that milieu. Jacket painting by Lichtenstein, lettering by Rombola, back cover author photo by Chapiro screened by Warhol. Increasingly scarce.
