Very Good+ with light rubbing to edges, pages toned with age, offsetting to endpapers. A rare Lost World adventure tale set in the Amazon. The author was born in Belfast, present-day Northern Ireland and is best known for his 1895 novel The Crack of Doom, which reputedly contains the first description of an atomic explosion.
