The plain brown paper jacket has had the price cut from the spine. Printed in the Florence Press Typeface specially designed for Chatto & Windus by Herbert P. Horne to give legibility and purity of design rather than adventurous ornamentation. It is representative of the typographical revival at that time in Great Britain.
