This is the privately printed edition and not the subsequently published Hazell, Watson & Viney edition. Book was previously owned by R V Viney a director of the later publisher and well-known Aylesbury publisher. Includes b/w frontispiece. 158pp. Most copies seen were published in the regimental green cloth, this is an exception but still original boards. Red cloth boards with regimental emblem in gilt on upper board. Gilt lettering to spine. Corners turned, spine a little sunned, there are a couple of minor indentations to the leading edges and a crimp to the cloth of the head of the spine. Foxing to end papers.
