This is an original book, not a reprint. An experiment in low-price book publishing at a price of 2/6d and du Maurier's first book to be published in paperback. The stories were written between the years 1927 and 1930 when she was under twenty-three, and had appeared in various magazine publications at the time, before she had published her first novel. A little wear to edges and to top edge of spine, and scuffing to top and bottom of spine, but contents clean, with some darkening to page edges. Previous owner's name to top of first page. Neat copy.
