First edition, but only Volumes I. and II. of three. x,418; 463 pp. The final page of Vol. I. is misnumbered "317;" and in Vol. II., page 45 is misnumbered "54." Octavo, contemporary mottled calf, black morocco label and decorative gilt-stamping to spines, all edges speckled blue. Volume II. has a chip at crown. Both volumes have shallow loss at heels and joints with hairline cracks. Nonetheless, they are attractive and sound, with clean texts, and in very good plus condition.
