NEAR FINE book, no DJ, likely as issued. Spine ends mildly frayed, else FLAWLESS. 1st ed., 10"x7", 339 numnered pages. Green cloth with gilt lettering and decorations. No sunned spine, all cover gilt identically bright. Spine ends starting to wear, tips scuffed. All three text block edges clean. Internally immaculate, no starting hinges. Zero pastedown browning, aging, foxing, marginalia, etc. This include the plates and their tissue guards. Lastly, book stays closed when stood on its spine. So, read with care, if at all.
