A unique collection of poems by British Printer in the 1890s, when printing was at one of its heights. Victorian printing showed fine examples of design, printing and layout, which is hardly ever bettered.All the pomes included generated from the printers themselves, and describe greatly the life of these early Victorian workers.Illustrated with woodcuts in text, printed in red ink and copied from a books of woodcuts published by Dover Publications. The original prints were produced by Thomas Bewick and his school. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally excellent with minor shelf wear only and some minor creasing to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with woodcut engravings in text throughout, printed in red ink from original Thomas Bewick and his school. Very Good Indeed.
