Nash writes in her Foreword, "People must and will eventually realize that we are all drops in the sea of a humanity composed of many colors and cultures. We must also realize that we are all tied to one origin, one cradle of mankind, which is Africa…we must realize that the exploration of Black culture is the exploration of African culture and, ultimately, the exploration of human culture.
