An uncommon first edition copy of one of Alan Riddell's best known works, the poetry collection Eclipse. The first edition of this work in the publisher's original paper wraps. Alan Riddell (1927-1977) was a poet and founder of the Scottish poetry magazine 'Lines'. This influential work comprises a collection of his 'concrete poetry', which is arranged in geometrical shapes after the style of the Ancient Greeks. The artistic nature of these poems are such that they have been displayed in exhibitions all over the world. This first edition is now uncommon to see. In the publisher's original paper wraps.
