Fine in a Fine Dust Jacket that is protected in a BroadArt cover. Ex-Library, but the only indication that it was ever in a library is the library stamp on the title page and the discard stamp over that. The Text Block is clean, off-white with tanned page edges, tight, straight and square with no markings of any kind other than the one mentioned above. The Binding is full black cloth, color uniform throughout, with bight gilt title, etc., to spine, unmarked white endpapers, and all corners square and sharp. The Dust Jacket is fully intact, including the original price ($5.95) on the front flap, and bright, with the spine faded as is common with this title. See photos. xiv + 319 pages. 5 1/2" x 7 3/4". This is the last novel in the author's Men at War trilogy (known as the Sword of Honour trilogy in the UK). The original ending of the book has the protagonist with two children by his second wife.
