True first British printing. No jacket. Brown boards with gold lettering to spine are very good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, light crease to spine (book has been read), a few small marks, little darkening to spine, the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/very small splits to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight (slightly pulled in places - however book is not in danger of falling apart). Rough cut page bottoms. Previous owner's name in pencil to front end-paper. Odd small marks/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Pages bit tanned. End-papers tanned. Occasional small mark/spots of foxing to pages. Odd small (approx. 5mms) tear to edge of a few pages (not through text). No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 009210
