Plates 6, 7, 13 & 18 "being with reluctance found to be not sufficiently complete in detail to be useful are not inserted" Hand written note from "the authors" presenting the book to George Main on front free endpaper, there is an ink note by George Main presenting the book to the Archtecture Society subsequently IBA & RIBA whose library marks are on endpapers, a letter listing the plates and dated 1823, from Mr Pulley to Mr Garling is tipped onto front free endpaper First Edition , boards scuffed and bumped around the edges, rubbed and marked, corners softened, pages show slight darkening at top edges and some faint handling marks to margins, final 6 plates have a water stain to bottom inner corners, front endpapers show various interesting plates and inscriptions, rear of each plates has a small Institute of British Architects stamp, overall the book is in very good condition but carries the marks of its history , half black calf with decorative gilt bands, ornaments and title to spine, plain brown paper to boards large folio 57 x 41 cm Hardback ISBN: Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 33551
