Dampstain to bottom corner of rear cover continuing diminishingly through textblock, overlapping text on the final few pages but remaining in the margins elsewhere. Spotting and staining to preliminaries; some pencil marginalia to text, mostly relegated to the Socialism section of Chapter IV and the start of Chapter V. Binding is sound.
