As new condition color photographic softcover wraps. Includes Dedication; About the Author; Introduction; Terms to Know; Index to Chapter & Unit Review Questions; Index to Glencoe Earth Science; Index to Holt Earth Science; Index of Articles by Chapter; and Topical Index by Keyword. Illustrated with black-and-white drawings, diagrams, charts, and tables. "Do our really know what's really being taught in earth science class? The earth science textbooks used in schools today are based on evolutionary assumptions. They teach that the universe began with a big bang and that the earth, and life on it, slowly evolved over billions of years. In this follow-up to Evolution Exposed: Biology, students learn how to respectfully counter the evolutionary bias and indoctrination in astronomical and geological evolution. Students are equipped with a side-by-side comparison of the biblical and evolutionary views and articles that refute the evolutionary claims of the textbooks. Illustrations, charts, tables, and key definitions help students easily grasp the material so that they can bring truth to the science classroom. Students can use this book as a reference for their research papers, classroom discussions, and interactions with friends and teachers, so that they will have the information they need to engage in this battle in the culture war." - from the rear outer cover "Much more than a comparison of the evolutionary content of earth science textbooks, this book is also a useful reference guide to creationist writings in the earth and astronomical sciences. One of the most useful features of the book is that it contains many summaries of reference articles, which are a must for any earth science student working on a research paper. Every Christian earth science student should own a copy, whether they are in public, Christian, or homeschool!" - Dr. John Whitmore, Associate Professor of Geology, Cedarville University "This book is a mandatory tool for students and parents to refute the uniformitarian indoctrination of textbooks. It will also guide them through the evidence for a catastrophic short earth history that makes biological evolution impossible." - Dr. Andrew Snelling, Ph.D., Geology, University of Sydney "With [the book], students will learn to think critically and spot evolutionary bias in their textbooks. They will see that good science is consistent with biblical creation, and that evolutionary notions do not stand up to rational scrutiny." - Dr. Jason Lisle, PhD., Astrophysics, University of Colorado. …

Shopbeschreibung
Vero Beach Books is an antiquarian bookseller with a constantly updated inventory of rare out-of-print books, signed books, children's books, plus a large inventory of ephemeral items such as major U.S. city newspapers going back 100 years and more, golden and silver age fine condition comic books (soon to be added), and many other ephemeral items as well as much more recent popular volumes. We have been in business for 25 years, originally known as Emerson Books (named after one of our owner's favorite authors, to wit, Ralph Waldo Emerson) located back then in Westport, Connecticut. That said, we are here to serve you, to offer you fine quality items that are conservatively described so that you will always be pleasantly surprised and delighted with your purchase. Twenty-five years in the bookselling business has borne out our stellar service oriented reputation; the only difference is that now we are located in the almost always sunny and warm climate of Vero Beach, Florida. Again, we are here to serve you and, as was the case when we were previously known on ABEBooks.com as Emerson Books, we will continue to offer our very popular 100% free search service for those hard to find books rare and out of print books. Oftentimes we are also able to obtain these rare finds at very good discounts to our customers' so it is always worth contacting us in such cases!
