This copy is not signed by Buck, but does include a letter from the publisher to the original owner ( a manager of Bon Marche in downtown Seattle ) that is signed by Eugene Reynal the publisher. The letter is dated December 17, 1935 and precedes the book's publication date of 1936. Also included is a Christmas Greeting's card from the publisher.
