First American Edition. A complete two volume set bound in black blind stamped cloth with gold spine letterings. Each volume measures 5 1/2" X 9". A Good ex-college library set. Both volunes are chipped ato th e upper and lower bands of the spines. The books' corners are rubbed/f rayed and bumped. Lightly marked inside. Dusting to the edges of the b ooks' upper page blocks. Both volumes have small library bookplates on their front endpapers and "withdrawn" stamps on their front fly leafs . Book otherwise clear of any other library markings.
