The original price of 35s net is present on the bottom of the front flap. The lettering on the panels and spine is bright, clean, and legible. The book itself is in very good plus condition. Minor shelf wear with little to no bumping or scuffing to the corners. The cloth boards and spine retain their rich coloring, with the gilt lettering along the spine being clean and bright. Some offsetting to the endpapers and pastedowns, but they are otherwise unmarked. The text block is beautifully preserved, bright, clean, and complete. The binding is sound.
