It lays out the location of the various naval bases around the globe and the numbers of various classes of ships that were under commission in 1941 . The dust jacket flap presents this book as the " complete pictorial and factual guide to the world's most powerful navy " . It also includes historical data about the development of naval weaponry and operations . This book and it's jacket are in near fine condition . This book is a real treasure .
