Black cloth boards with visible gilt lettering on spine that reads: School District Library NO. 138 The Family Instructer. Surface wear some minor damp staining , corners bumped and slightly turned in with a little fraying to three of the corners. There is light to moderate foxing throughout but does not hinder legibility of print. The pages are very good perhaps never really read much; i.e. no dog ears, wrinkled or marked pages. Inside very clean with only a small area on inside cover where it looks like a label was removed. The title is rarely been available. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
