Miller's reminiscences detail early play over many of the most well-regarded Scottish courses, recollections of famous players, memorable matches, etc. Miller would also write the History of the Royal Perth Golfing Society in 1935. A very nice copy of this uncommon memoir, blue cloth and gilt titling bright with only slight wear at spine extremities and corner tips. Contents without soiling, foxing, staining, marginalia, underlining, creases, or tears. Tipped in on the ffep is a newspaper cutting of the Memorial Service held for Rector Miller upon his passing. Opposite, on the front pastedown is a note with Miller's blind-stamped address of "MANSE OF KIRKUD, DOLPHINTON, N. B." Written below in black ink; "WITH THE AUTHOR'S COMPLIMENTS AND KIND THANKS FOR THE MATCHES AT GIRVAN AND TURNBERRY. OUR UNITED KIND REGARDS TO ALL." A fine addition to any golf connoisseur's library.
