Lady Charlotte Schreiber published two volumes of descriptions and illustrations of her fans and fan leaves - a collection she later gave to the British Museum. Only 150 copies of each volume were printed, and this is an excellent example of the "Foreign" volume. It has been given a replacement spine in red leather, but the upper decorated board and the lower plain board are in very good condition. There is a small tear at the top of the half-title page with no loss. 48 pages of descriptive text are followed by 153 single sided lithographic representations of the fans and fan leaves. Please note that not only is this a very large book, but it is also very heavy, weighing 10 kilograms, or 22 pounds. Delivery is therefore likely to be costly. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 000061
