Printed for private circulation. Flower and leaf in brown and cream decorated boards with dark red leather spine which wraps round to from part of cover. Gilt tiles to spine and front leather. Black and white engravings rhroughout. Frontispiece shows inn, Drury Lane 1840, with tissue guard. There is a compliment slip fixed with rusted paper clip to front dated 1896.
