Green cloth binding with very slight rubbing. Some foxing to page edges, tanning to free endpapers, very clean text throughout. Previous owner's inscription in pencil to front pastedown endpaper. Memoirs of the British diplomat and journalist who travelled extensively in the Middle East and Asia from the late 19th century until the end of the Great War. Scarce. Overall condition is Very Good.
