A folio size publication consisting of outer printed card folio with blue linen spine and ribbon ties, housing a high quality set of artist's figure studies printed on a good quality heavy paper stock. In very good condition. Outer cover with some age toning to top and bottom, and minor bumping and wear. Some wear to inner spine area. Inside, the loose leaf pages are nice and clean with minimal age toning and are bright and clean throughout. A few minor spots to the title page. A few of the plates are worn to top or bottom edge where they have been out of position in the folio, but overall, a a very attractive set., Text in French. Outer folio + Title Page + 1pp Dedication + 1pp Note de L'Editeur + 64 Plates (a small number with 2 Plates per page) + 1 additional plate which appears to be from another folio.
