The Fisherman's Bedside Book, compiled by "B.B" , Eyre and Spottiswoode, 1946 Illustrated First Edition, Second Impression Witten and illustrated by the same person - Denys Watkins-Picthford - this is compilation of essays written by various authors on the subject of fishing. The essays have been divided into those relevant to a particular fish ie Perch or Roach. The book is illustrated throughout with black and white drawings. In very good condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine and picture on the front cover are bright. There is loss to the top edge of the spine, nibbling to the bottom edge of the spine , a tear along the edge of the spine and a small tear to bottom edge of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. All edges retain their original red tint. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
