Following Her Majesty's 404th Fusiliers and Private Bill Gedge marching into action. Written by George Manville Fenn, a prolific English novelist, journalist, editor and educationalist. Illustrated by William Henry Charles Groome, a British artist and illustrator. Publisher's catalogue to the rear. In the original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with marks to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine with a 1" split to the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark.
