The two Senate Journal's are bound in the assumed original full smooth calf with three leather spine labels to each spine. With 649 pages and 68 pages of index. With 438 pages and 100 plus pages of index. The two House Journals are bound in the assumed original quarter calf bindings over marbled boards. With 767 pages and 120 pages of index. With 566 pages and 92 pages of index. All of the leather extremities and bindings are rubbed, and leave a residue from handling. Each has bookplate from a historical society.
