Both books were expensively produced for the series 'Artistes Belges Contemporains' by G. Van Oest & Cie in 1908. The two books have been bound together in a very expensive half leather binding (light brown calf leather spine and corners. Since the two books were produced in the same year they are perfectly matching in regards layout/design. Both books have full page b/w plates of important paintings hors text as well as drawings in text. The standard of these two books is outstanding. The condition externally and internally is Fine.
