Mild edgewear, with lettering lightly rubbed but none of the chipping so often found on white lettering; ownership name inkstamped on both pastedowns and on front/rear flyleaves of Donald L. Steinhauer, author of the 1962 "Bibliographic Listing of Golden Hours" and other dime novel writings. A tight, quite nice first edition of the fifth title in the "Football Eleven" boy's series, internally fine. Blind-embossing depicts alternating footballs and cheerleader's megaphones.
