This book was issued, in a very limited number and never reprinted to establish the truth about Gladio, the Italian version of Stay Behind, the secret organization created by NATO and inteded to spring to action in case of a Soviet invasion of Western Europe. Introduction by Francesco Cossiga, former President of Italy. The revelation of the existance of such organization created a shitstorm in Italy and was seized by the Left to demonstrate that it was in fact a group bent on organizing a Fascist golpe in Italy, and not for the defence from a Soviet invasion. 8vo.230 pages with several photos and copy of documents. There is an accompany letter by the president of the Gladio veterans association, Giorgio Mathieu, announcing the sending of this book to all members.
