This is a UK first edition hardcover published by the Homeopathic Publishing Company in 1879. The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading the book as Near Fine condition for its age. The book has a straight spine with sharp corners and firm spine ends. There is a nick to the centre at the top of the spine, which won't worsen unless pulled. The page edges are dyed red along the vertical and bottom edges, and brown along the top edges. The interior text is clean but the pages are toned. there is an owner label glued to the inside board at the front, and tidy notes in pencil written on the rear end papers, which I've left in place because things like this add to the book's appeal for me. You can erase them easily enough however if so inclined. The title page confirms the publication in 1879 and the preface records first publication in February 1879.
