Legatura in pelle rinforzata al dorso, che presenta un tassello con titoli in oro. Non è presente l'antiporta figurata. Minime tarlature. Testo su 2 / 3 colonne, con bordura a filo. Prima e unica edizione di un importante dizionario seicentesco inglese-francese, opera dello studioso Guy Miège (Losanna, 1644 circa - 1718 circa), nato in Svizzera ma residente a Londra. Significative le note grammaticali nella prima parte. "Two dictionaries, French-English and English-French, that, although heavily indebted to Cotgrave (1611), eliminates words not in actual use, that is, all "Obsolete, or New-forced Words" found in his work. These excisions find a place in Miège's dictionary of barbarous French (1679).
