1st edition. A Poor copy in Near Fine dust jacket. Oblong 4to. This book, ex-library, has been repaired several times, is edge worn, and has had its pages finger soiled. But, its dust jacket has been superbly protected and is in excellent condition, with sharp edges, with and little to no soiling on the front panel and bright, vibrant colors. A little soiling on the rear panel, one small closed tear on the front. A very attractive dust jacket, with a poor copy that serves a purpose as placeholder only. The dust jacket is now protected in a (new) mylar sleeve. Kurt Wiese (April 22, 1887 - May 27, 1974) was a German-born book illustrator.
