Gangster Girl is one of only two novels by Campert that was translated into English. It has been adapted into a film starring Italian actor Gian Maria Volonté. Our copy must have been used for publicity purposes: it has a sticker from the publisher's agent and a stamp from the Dutch publisher De Bezige Bij to fly-leaf.
