Beschreibung
248pp. Octavo [19 cm] Red cloth covered boards with a black ink stamped title on the spine. Very good. The extremities are gently bumped and rubbed. The spine is rolled. The front cover is very slightly darkened along the front joint. The endsheets have large areas of darkening. Browned pages. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Browned, more so at the spine. Also lightly rubbed and soiled. The edges are chipped. The widest chip is 1/4 of an inch wide, and the deepest chip is 1/4 of an inch deep. There are several short closed tears in the edges as well. There is a small ink stamp on the front inside flap. The rear panel has a small amount of staining. The Utah artist, John Held Jr., was one of the best known magazine illustrators of the 1920s, and his designs for F. Scott Fitzgerald jackets became icons of the Jazz Age.
