Top edge dust soiled, and with some very light partial toning to the free endpapers. Poet Leonard Clark's bookplate to the front free endpaper. A very good copy in dust wrapper, toned at the spine panel with a lengthy vertical crease, and with a touch of wear to the upper edge with two or three tiny fractions of loss. Two-hundred and ninety-five poems, concluding with the celebrated elegiac title poem which recounts the one known occasion when all of the Dymock poets (bar Drinkwater) were together for an evening.
