Rider Haggard, 'Seekers For a City' by Andrew Lang, and more.Illustrated with a frontispiece, and in-text illustrations throughout, by Randolph Caldecott, W. Callow, Tristram Ellis, and more.Twenty pages of adverts to the rear. In a rebacked quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Part of the original paper spine has been restored by rebacking. Some rubbing and discolouration to the boards and spine, including a few light spots. Minor bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. Two tide marks to the rear board. Front hinge is a little strained, rear hinge is starting but firm. Spots to the endpapers, small tidemark to the rear endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few light handling marks. Good. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 899P4
