A bright first edition copy of essays, many of which were originally published anonymously. Complete with a Vanessa Bell unclipped dust jacket. The Book Society Wrapper has been kept within the book so is bright, clean with no fading with a 1.5cm tear on the rear. Original blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Bumped lower edge of the spine and otherwise with minimal wear. The end papers and contents are clean.The dust jacket has minimal wear with only a tiny tear on the foot of the spine.
